A young boy is rescued from a shipwreck by a large blue whale. They meet at the crossroads between sky and sea. The whale melts into a lonely island floating through the endless waters with the company of the little boy on it's back. When the boy finds his way to land, the whale passes on and becomes home to new life deep below the surface.
